 Rev. Lynn Holmes serves as the pastor of Calvary Church. In May of 1996, Pastor Holmes came to Memphis with a burden for this community and a dream to build a church that would be an exciting and fun place to worship; a place where the Word of God would be preached with relevancy and application to everyday life; a community center that would minister to the needs of families; and a place where people could feel 'connected' and develop deep, lasting relationships. Calvary Church is striving to be that place. In order to facilitate that dream, the church was relocated to its new facility on 27 acres in Cordova, Tennessee, in April of 2001.
Pastor Lynn felt God's call upon his life at the age of 13. Since that time, through private business, College and Post Graduate School, and years of Pastoring - God has been formulating this dream and preparing him for this ministry.
Lynn is known for his creative communication of God's truths to every day people and situations. He and his late wife Debbie had three children: Jennifer, Christopher and Bradley. God blessed Lynn with the privilege to fall in love with Robin Foster and on February 17th, 2006, they were married. The Holmes’ family instantly grew with the wonderful addition of Robin’s children: Taylor and Tate. As one big happy family, blessed by God, they enjoy ministry at Calvary Church. Robin is a phenomenal helpmate as well as a gifted musician and vocalist. When they are not ministering at Calvary, one of their favorite hobbies includes riding their horses. Lynn enjoys life and loves people. When you meet him you will feel like you've known him for a long time.

About Calvary 
Rev. Thom McAdory serves as our Executive Pastor. Thom comes to us from his most recent assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. He has served over forty (40) years in ministry. Thirty-five of those were given to Ministry of Music and Worship. His last six (6) were in ministry to adults 40 and over.
Pastor Mark Hodge is our Pastor of Worship and Creative Arts. His passion for worship and his pursuit of excellence are evident as he leads us in corporate worship. Before coming to Calvary Church, Mark served in churches in Chicago, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Seattle. Mark's wife, Cindy, is an authentic ministry partner through her leadership and experience in drama and performing arts. Mark and Cindy have two children.
Rev. Greg Kenerly is the Youth Minister at Calvary Church. Greg came to Calvary Church in the summer of 1997. He is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University and has been in youth ministry since 1985. He has served in churches in both Atlanta, GA and Ft. Myers, FL. 
Pastor Lewis Stark leads a tremendous group of gifted lay ministers who serve our Nursery, Preschool and Elementary children’s groups as they teach our youngest to love God and love people. Lewis’ undergraduate and post-graduate work has prepared him well to invite children into the story of God. Lewis and his wife Allison have served Calvary Church since July of 2007.
