Genesis 37-50
The Life of Joseph

 I.   LET GOD BE GOD OF YOUR DREAMS
       Everything we have, and everything we are, is a gift from God!

II.      LET GOD BE GOD WHEN CIRCUMSTANCES SEEM TO 
         CONTRADICT YOUR DREAMS. 
      A.  The grace of God is greater than the grief of life.
      B.  Depending on you, you can either grow from your difficult experiences or you can  be defeated by them.
      C.  God loves you enough to never leave you as you are.

III.  LET GOD BE GOD IN THE SUCCESSES OF LIFE.
      In serving Egypt, Joseph was serving God!  So we realize that
      to those who will render God the glory, God then uses them
      to accomplish great and wonderful things!

IV.   LET GOD BE GOD OVER THE FAILURE OF OTHERS WHO
        HAVE FRUSTRATED YOUR DREAMS.
       A.  In order for genuine forgiveness to be obtained, recognition
            and confession of wrong doing must precede it.
       B.  (cc. 45, vs. 7-8) God had replaced Joseph's arrogance with
            humility and his self-reliance with trust in Him.
       C.  When we can look back over our lives and recognize the loving
           handiwork of our Heavenly Father active in our lives, THAT then
           becomes a vibrant basis of hope for the future.

"All things work together for good, for those who love the Lord."

  V.   LET GOD BE GOD OF THE FUTURE!
        God has a plan for your life if you will allow Him to be God!
